HEBREW SLAVE CHORUS
I am currently working on a 3D collaboration with Hans Mattes and Carole La Rue. We are using the music from The Hebrew Slave Chorus from Nabucco by Verdi with a 3D moving image. This is proving to be challenging and certainly helping me think outside the box.
TRANSATLANTIC COMMUNICATION
I worked with Andrew Pegram, a London based artist in 2013 (https://www.andrewpegram.com).
I took photos of buildings and sites in Petaluma, CA and Sonoma County which I sent to Andrew in London. He then drew the image by hand and the resulting hand rendered line drawing was subsequently colored. The pieces were then brought to the US where we had a joint show with the photographs and the colored line drawings. First at Aqus Cafe in Petaluma, CA and then at Redwood Cafe in Cotati, CA. It was a fun transatlantic collaboration.
